2nd shift Anodize Racker

Independence, IA Independence, IA Full-time Full-time Up to $19 an hour Up to $19 an hour Pries is looking for a General Labor Racker to add to our team! No previous experience needed! This position is an 8 hour shift:
M-F with every other Saturday depending on production.
Starting at up to $19 per hour! 2pm-10pm Duties include:
Receive instructions and work orders for the job from Team Leader.
Plan details of working procedure and gather tools and materials required.
(ie.
wood, racks, spacers, clamps, etc.
) Examine products for defects, such as deep scratches, bent material, bow, dents and flatness.
Report identified defects to Team Leader Rack/Stack product based on production specs, and notes, to prevent shifting/damage and meet customer requirements.
Report any discrepancies to Team Leader.
Change out canes using various hand tools and properly secure then to the load bars to ensure successful and safe production.
Affix aluminum to canes using proper and various clamps for each order to ensure quality material.
Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures.
Reports all unsafe activities to Team Leader and or Safety Department.
Maintain consistent and reliable attendance.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Ability to step into and out of 13 pit.
